Here at Buck we just rapped up on the newest addition to the Sherwin Williams campaign. Thankfully I have the opportunity to contribute. I was on the project early on figuring out landscapes and doing quick color keys and sketches. The spot looks great!

Cafe Sketch

I spent my saturday with Dara at a recently opened cafe Paper or Plastik on W. Pico blvd. We packed our laptops and some reading material and enjoyed some expresso all throughout the evening. Mind you Im not even a coffee drinker. I had the shakes just after. The cafe turned out to be a pleasant place to draw. The tables have a second little shelf underneath making an awesome little storage unit. There is also a dance studio connected to it so you can peak in and watch beautiful humans dance about. Good laughs, some drawing, it was a successful day.

The Eye Openers

I used to be really into BF Skinner. Small ideas like humans are nothing but a collection of nerve endings responding negatively or positively to stimuli. I like that theory from time to time.

So Im going to try and not keep my work to myself. Im consistently producing these paintings. Its funny because they actually mean a lot to me. I invest alot of my thoughts and my... i suppose creative exploration of what the world is and my perceptive on certain things in the production of them. I like to play with ideas. As a result my work becomes rather abstract. Well. I suppose I can just begin to talk about my work. I think that it will help me develop.

For now. A solid post.

its been a while.

between traveling and working commercially i decided that i would make time to do what i love. So ive been hiking like a maniac every weekend and ive been trying my luck with some oils. Its a challenge and i look forward to understanding it more and more. There are so many talented painters its overwhelming and incredibly inspiring.

I think i will work on it some more though... ive never really painted in this pallet and its a fun challenge. Other than that my dogs and i are getting along and im exited..... for many things...
